Charismatic Karthik Conquers Mumbaikars - Singing Sensation does it again!

A venue overlooking the sea, packed to capacity, and songs that are so Indian yet reflect the changing tides in our youth's musical tastes — the Mirror LiveJam concerts over the weekend were a cocktail made just right. And thousands came to sip on this concoction. Saturday evening saw electronic-meets-classical music band, Advaita and playback singer Karthik. Thousands thronged inside Bandra Fort to watch the musical potpourri.

After a brief lull in the fanatic screaming, after Advaita concluded, here entered South Indian singer Karthik with his band (Bennet and the Band) and the crowd went ballistic again. He began with the song Behaka mein Behaka from the film Ghajini and Sun Le Zara from Once Upon a Time In Mumbai.

He then raised the tempo and got the crowd chanting to Bhaag Dk Bose from Delhi Belly. He then sung Mohammad Rafi's tunes Chaudhvin ka Chand, Teri Aankhon ke Siva and Kishore Kumar's Tere Bina Zindagi. He got the crowd on their feet again with Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and ended the night.
